Berthine Heederik

Berthine Heederik studied Rural Development and Innovation at Larenstein University in the Netherlands. At the time of writing this book Berthine was the senior editor of a fundrasing television program. Currently she is Project Coordinator for Tree of Life, a foundation that promotes regenarative agriculture in several African countries.
Berthine lives with her husband on a little farm in Groningen, the Netherlands. Here they grow and preserve their own food.
Through her work and personal research she encountered the stories of these five farmers, and felt they had to be shared collectively with the world. ‘I Will Heal Their Land’ is Berthine’s first book.
